GPS based Intelligent Robofish School to Discover Pollutant in Water

2010, the year where scientists are busy in research to recreate school of robofish to monitoring the pollution level in water. They are quit intense to develop intelligent robofish into the gloomy depths of sea.

Robofish

The robofish are absolutely looks like real fishes. The pool of robofish have created by the scientists of University of Essex which is situated in Colchester,England. The robotic fish’s body contains in-built a Global Positioning System (GPS) and wi-fi sensors that discovers the scope of a pollution in water. These fishes do two type of operation first is autonomous swimming and remote-controlled swimming. GPS has evolved into a advance used aid to navigation across the world. Automated electric motor drives the motion of fins and tails. Remote control system takes control over the every moment of fishes. There is also a facility of hidden camera which allows fishes to swim independently, follow target and avoid obstacles.

Robofish

The function that is being used by robofish is to catch the pollutants in the depths of the River Thames. After discovering pollutant, they start sending off the signal to other member of their pool. GPS determine facilitates day to day activities of robotic fished. This intelligent machine grabs all the information about the particular area, generates detailed report and then delivers to humans where we can develop 3D maps of that particular pollutant area. These super cool systems allow us in finding solution how to rid our rivers, oceans of pollution.
